Mama is in the beautiful Phyang village surrounded by lush green fields, tall poplar trees, and mountains surrounding the property. It is a passive solar-heated building that takes advantage of a building’s location and climate with the use of materials such as earth and local resources leading to low or almost no use of energy for heating all throughout the day while providing sufficient natural light. Enjoy the front patio overlooking the beautifully landscaped mountains, green space area, and towering Stok Kangri. They grow organically most of the produce that makes it to your plate in their kitchen garden.
